v     Read outside of class to i8kprove your reading skills.

v     Take reading courses to improve your reading rate and comprehension.

v     Take a speed- reading course if you desire.

v     Take notes while reading

v     When possible, read from your own book and materials; this way, you can mark, highlight cross reference, write notes in the margins, etc.. If the books belong to someone else or the library, you can’t do this
